ABOUT ME & WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR SESSIONS

Emma Wade (84 of 107)_edited.png

My Name is Emma, I am a bodyworker, holistic facialist, reflexologist and yoga teacher, with over 25 years experience in my field. I have completed training’s in a multitude of different disciplines, I pull on this wealth of knowledge and experience to create my own method of treating and practice.

I welcome every client as an individual, therefore one of the most important parts of our session is to start with a conversation. I will intuitively listen to you and your body to understand what you're saying, both from a physical and emotional perspective and deeper still. This enables you to feel heard, safe and held right from the start and allows me to get deeper results in my sessions.

Often the pains and tension you may be feeling in your body & face are the voices of stress or trauma being held in the nervous system, tissues, organs and muscles.

Every session is a personal ritual just for you. My treatments are deliciously relaxing & holistic, which means that I take into account your whole being. I like to use ancient arts of treating, Massage, Gua Sha, facial cupping, and heated thai compresses to enhance your treatment experience, allowing that much needed space and time to heal.

Every ritual will be a journey for your senses. I use intuitive touch, heat, cold, scent, oils, organic products, rhythm and music to create sessions that will take you on a journey into yourself, Allowing you to connect with your body and truly ‘Let Go’.

The luxury of a massage is not a common experience for me but I was given a treatment as a present from my daughter who had been to Emma herself and wanted me to be equally indulged. Emma's therapeutic approach works on several levels because in addition to the physical relaxation her expert massage brings and the muscle release, her aura and her gentle presence has a calming, healing effect which goes beyond the physical. I came away feeling nurtured in a deeper sense and as though I had been temporarily wrapped in cotton wool.
